Inquisitor Silas Marr
Inquisitor Soldevan signed his Acolytes into the custodianship of Inquisitor Silas Marr for one purpose: infiltrate an auction of the rogue trader Haarlock on the planet Solomon and discover and secure what Inquisitor Rykehus has sent a team to acquire before they do.

Inquisitor Silas Marr is always seated in an ornate sedan chair. He is a withered elderly man with lank hair and a narrow sharp face. He succumbs to wracking fits of coughing and has the blood dabbed from his mouth afterward by a gaunt young woman. Despite his age, his eyes shine with a feverish light and his rasping embittered voice grates in your ear.

Captain Elias Shadrack of the Cygnan Martyr (Actually Inquisitor Titus)
The original Captain Shadrack was killed by Inquisitor Titus before the Cygnan Martyr left Solomon. Titus was in fact the missing 13th passenger. He bio-sculpted his flesh to mirror the Captain and went about commandeering the ship. When asked about the missing passenger, he simply said (as Captain Shadrack) that the passenger cancelled at the last minute. Some of the crew did report that the Captain wasn't himself and was behaving erractically, but this was put down to the difficulty of the voyage itself.

The original Captain (and the role Titus played) was of a dour, no nonsense man with hard eyes that have seen much, he is a former Imperial Guard Lieutenant. Balding but grizzled, slight paunch but good posture - slow speaker, He has a quick cold smile for his passengers and a quicker temper for his crew where his eyes flash. He runs a tight ship.

Status
Dead: The Captain was killed before the heroes met him.
Alive: Inquisitor Titus however has revealed himself and he is very much alive. (See Inquisitor Titus below)

(First Mate) Nahun Grist of the Cygnan Martyr
The first thing you notice about Nahun Grist is his rainbow sun of hair. It's glued into a style of a glorious sun and on Solomon (the greyest, most polluted ball you've visited), is the most colourful thing you've seen. He is very eager to please - always ready with a smile and a "aye sir!". He seems thrilled to b alive - irritating after 5 minutes.

Status
Dead: Nahun was killed during the raider attack aboard the Cygnan Martyr.

Abbot Tamas of Shale
A seemingly devout member of the Ecclesiarchy - he speaks well and with fervor and knowledge of the God-Emperor, but Wolsey suspects him of much, much worse - and is proved right.

Drusus
A loyal follower of the Abbot. A lower hive dreg.

Lanus Cisten
Apparently a minor scion of one of Solomon's guilder families who has devoted himself to a life of academia and lore. Ancient history is one of his passions, and tales of Rogue Traders and their voyages (especially Haarlock) have always held a fascination for him. He has newly installed two recording mechanisms: an occular-sensor that records a pict on command and an electronic-ear to record those around him (as well as his own musings).

A typical academic, he looks mostly lost, has a mop of hair, prone to long moments of contemplation and overly excited about the most arcane references and connections.

Status
Dead: Ripped apart by Children of the Kingdom.

Whent (a Scion of Haarlock)
A young boy (barely 16), he is Lanus Cisten's junior scribe. He is thoroughly terrified of everything and everyone, although the kind Ravia offered him a drink or two and got him out of his shell a little. He only speaks when spoken to, is often receiving a lecture from Lanus - which he receives sheepishly. He is never without an overly large leatherbound journal and takes notes hurriedly as Lanus dictates while pacing up and down.

Status
Alive: Travelling with the Acolytes aboard the Dark Horizon.

Mood
Group: Incredibly grateful - they saved his life (more than once).
Wollsey: Feels a great debt of gratitude to the Psyker, hangs on his every word.

Lady Octavia Niles
Octavia is an attractive young woman dressed in formal business attire, with fine manners and a cool, easy charm. Beneath the good looks, manners and charm is however an ultimate manipulator (as Atilus found out). She has tried to poison Atilus and even accussed him of attempted rape when he didn't succumb to her overtly sexual demands. Whoever she really is, she is a professional of some kind - someone not to take lightly.

Status
Dead: Drugged by Atilus and then had her brain eaten by Master Nonesuch, a Slaugth Overseer.

Marxus Thonneus
One of Lady Octavia's two bodyguards, Marxus is the talkative one. He is from some Hive World (probably lower hive due to the pollution scarring on his face) and as such is far more worldy and travelled than his comrade Crenshan. He is a demon at 'Blood', a card game - havinh won 1,500T off Wolsey.

Status
Dead: Killed aboard the Cygnan Martyr during the raid.

Crenshan
One of Lady Octavia's two bodyguards, Crenshan hardly ever speaks. If he is ever asked a point blank question he looks first to Marxus to answer for him. His body is adorned with spiralling water-themed tattoos. A big powerful man, his head clean shaven he is a quietly dominating presence - he is meant to be seen and having seen him, you should want to turn around and head the other way. His eyes show absolutely no fear - not even when the demon manifested from the gut of the corrupted Abbot.

Status
Dead: Killed aboard the Cygnan Martyr during the raid.

Vymer Karnesh
Vymer is a man in his apparent sixties. He is father to Quill. He and his son are never apart, mostly uncommunicative and apparently from Malfi (due to their lilting accents). It is clear that he has had some form of military training as was evidence in the firefight with the Abbot. He is dressed in rugged, well worn clothes and along with his son, can be found in the corner of the room, watching everything.

Status
Dead: Killed aboard the Cygnan Martyr during the raid.

Quill Karnesh
Quill is a young powerfully built dark-skinned man. A little taller than his father Vymer, he is usually standing slightly behind his father. Like his father he doesn't say much and when questioned in front of his Vymer, allows his father to handle the conversation.

Quill and Vymer were hunting the Rogue Trader Caption Rubio who turned out to be Magyar, the other Rubio being a decoy.

Status
Dead: Died in the final confrontation against Master Nonesuch, the Slaught Overseer. He held out against the waves of Children of the Kingdom as long as he could, when he then blew himself up with a bandolier of frag grenades.

Locutor Mayweather
Mayweather is Marr's inside man. A Chancellery Advocate assigned to the Administratum staff, he is every inch the small-minded, unctuous, officious pedant his calling in life requires. Small in stature, he is a fidgety, breathless, nervous energy that remind the Acolytes of vermin. He is terrified of the island, the inhabitants and Silas Marr. In the final showdown, he barricades himself in his room and tries to shoot anyone who approaches.

Status
Dead: Killed by Children of the Kingdom.

Hiram Bland, the Provost
Bland is the Administratum provost assigned to the House of Dust and Ash to manage the acution and see that the legal requirements are carried out. He is a harrassed, fearful man who just wants to keep the show on the road. What isn't in his report didn't happen. He is usually arguing with Greel, the Head Mourner of the Sorrowful Guild as to what is proper protocol and what order certain events should be carried out in. The loss of some of his staff, deeply disturbs him, but he has a job to do and the wuicker it is done, the quicker he and his staff can get off this Emperor forsaken islandof death.

Status
Dead: Killed by Head Mourner Greel's scythe.

Greel, the Head Mourner
An immensely tall man, swathed in black robes and cloak, with a sallow face and sunken eyes, around which are tattooed rivers of black tears flowing across his cheeks. He looks every inch the spectre of death. Greel is the Head of the Sorrowful Guild, the pseudo-religious order that maintains the House of Dust and Ash. He is the governor of the island as well as the appointed representative of the Haarlock Estate, which gives him great authority as to the proceedings with the Provost, Hiram Bland.

Status
Dead: Killed by Ravia in the firefight after the auction.

Master Nonesuch (Actually the Slaugth Overseer)
A charming patrician man of indeterminate age, Master Nonesuch ("Non-a-sooch") dresses in high quality but sober clothes of one of Solomon's Guildmasters and walks with an ornate cane. He claims to be a dilletante collector indulging in a highly priced hobby. He is extremely affable and seems to hav a wry sense of humour. He is attended by a small, perfectly dressed staff composed of three bodyguards and a secretary. All his staff appear effortlessly polite and civilised, but at the same time distant and emotionless.

Master Nonesuch is possibly the most dangerous auction attendee, a member of the horrific and dengerous xeno race known as the Slaugth. He is one of their Overseers currently constrained within the hollowed-out sheath of flesh, while his "staff" are fashioned from living human bodie and piloted by Slaugth flesh-parasites.

Status
Dead: Killed by the Acolytes in the final confrontation by firing grenades sub-cutaneously.

Magyar Marshrek (Actually Captain Rubio)
This man, attending the auction alone and without entourage, has the lethal air of a stalking beast. He wears battered but functional armour with an old sabre-wolf pelt across his shoulders. His face doesn't look like it has ever smiled and his silent stare makes you want to check where your weapon is. He is in fact the Rogue Trader, Captain Rubio - hunted by the Malfi bounty hunters Vymer and Quill. He has mind-wiped some anonymous fop and implanted a Captain Rubio identity to draw out his pursuers. He is a master huntsman, prefers to work alone and does so right up to the end.

Status
Dead: Killed by Master Nonesuch.

Captain Rubio (Actually a mind-wiped decoy - name unkown)
An over the top fop with a large entourage of fans, Rubio speaks in a ridiculous nasal accent and continually boasts of his accomplishments that span universes, generations and always stagger belief. He is a terrible bore, his fans constantly fawning over him, he feigning interest only to start grandstanding once more. He loves his multi-coloured scarves, and sees to it that his doorway to his chamber is beautified by their arrangment over then mantel.

Magyar Marshrek kidnapped, mind-wiped and ingrained an indentity of Captain Rubio onto this poor mostly innocent well-to-do man. His sole purpose to lure out the Malfi bounty hunters after him, so that he may know their identities and kill them.

Status
Dead: Killed by Children of the Kingdom.

Grollenen Menengurn
Grollenen is the bar in Deadtown. His aged, wrinkled skin as thin as paper face is all that appears biological amdist a sea of cables, tubes, valves, springs, coils, pumps and green light. In fact Grollenen's body appears to be whole one side of the back of the bar. Multiple arms collect jars and glasses from cavities within his tangled form, the raw acidic alcoholic contents are also poured from his body (a fact that is truer than any of the patrons want to believe). His socketed appendages can reach anyone within his bar and he keeps order by summarily executing anyone who transgresses the rules. He is incidentally also the brother of Greel the Headmourner who he'll tell anyone is very creepy since he got involved with the Sorrowful Guild.

His original accident that made him mostly machine was falling into the ocean. He has been adding bits and parts for decades and has run this bar for the last 50 years.

Status
Dead: Killed when the island's volcano erupted.

Lord Olaf
Lord Olaf is a barbarian warlord from an unknown savage world. He is a huge man, well over 7'. Braided ginger hair, deep booming laugh and voice. He likes his drink and his woman and not soon after meeting Lady Octavia, are they apparently an item. Atilus was seen to have insulted her ladyship's honour (according to Olaf) and so a perilous Honour Duel commenced. Atilus narrowly escaped with the win.

Status
Dead: Killed by Atilus in Honour Duel (Defending Lady Octavia's honour)..

Mamsel Jessifer
A lone (presumably female) devotee of a distant Sororitas Order. She appears very masculine in appearance and mannerisms, is painfully shy and blushed immediately when called out in a group. Captain of the last Sky Ship that made it through to the Burning Isle. Captain Yuchun is dressed as no other you've seen (unless it being a festival day) in bright garish colours and patterns. His face is painted bright red with solid black markings for eyebrows making him appear fiercer than he probably would. His large ornately decorated pole-axe is confiscated when entering the Stone Garden. He doesn't appear to speak Gothic, but understands instructions well enough.

Solomon PDF Sergeant Quist
Half his face is destroyed by the necrotizing ray of Master Nonesuch's sceptre, which he received while saving Okonna's life. He is obviously a strong leader and cares deeply for his squad. Always thinking about the best approach. He just wants his squad off this damn isle.

Status
Dead: Killed by necrotising ray from Master Nonesuch.

Children of the Kingdom
The children look, at first and from a distance, as preteen human children. They have the unnerving ability to sound like the children of any parents who can hear them. They even know the name of the parent and call on them plaintively, as if in pain. Before they attack, they keep their head tucked down into their chest and their warms wrapped around their body to hide the rows upon rows of teeth that fringe a maw of inky blackness and distant stars.

Status
Gateway: Haarlock's Tomb supposedly destroyed by Volcanic eruption and sinking of island.

Rogue Inquisitor Titus (aka Captain Shadrack; aka Brother Quintos)
Rogue Inquisitor Titus is a powerful psyker who can warp his flesh to appear to be other people perfectly. He has had two forms the Acolytes have met (and are aware of) before presenting this as his true form. Those being Brother Quintos (who stole the Ecclesiarchy scrolls from Abbot Skae on Iocanthus) and Captain Shadrack (the Captain of the sky skip Cygnan Martyr that was transport from Solomon's mainland to the Burning Isle and the House of Dust and Ash).

The Dark Horizon and her crew are his agents.

He is working directly against Inquisitor Soldevan, whom he suspects having dealings with demonic forces to learn about the Komus Star for the Tyrantine Cabal.
